The product
A working app for tile and stone dealers: renders matched to a real product swatch, a material library with CSV import, customer records, branded proposal links, team workspaces, Razorpay billing, coupons and a staff admin panel.
October 2026
Hayfield let tile and stone dealers put their own products on a photo of a customer's room, price the result, and send it for approval. The software works. It did not find enough paying shops to keep going, so we have stopped running it. The product, its codebase, and the hayfield.in domain are all for sale to someone who can take it further.
A sample board asks a customer to imagine the rest of the room. Most of them cannot, so the sale waits.
They scan a code and photograph the room on their own phone. No app, no sign-in. It lands in your account.
Your catalogue is the palette. Import the brand's own PDF: 101 materials, with their sizes and finishes.
Tap a surface, pick a tile. Looking is free. Add the wall, then render it properly. The sample is warped onto each surface's own plane and only re-lit, so the pattern and its repeat are exact.
Where the first tile starts decides the whole job. 37 tiles, 13% wastage, 12 slivers along the wall. The tidy start costs ₹1,300 more, and prints a cut list.
Send it out under your own name. Before, after, and a decision. Hayfield.

Three repositories with their full history: a FastAPI and Postgres backend with migrations and tests, a React and TypeScript web app, and the Astro blog. About 700 commits, with the operating notes and CI already written.
hayfield.in, registered until May 2027 and transferable to a buyer. Built India-first, with UPI-ready billing, for a trade where dealers sell on WhatsApp.
Every service has been switched off and the code is untouched, so a buyer deploys it on their own accounts. The notes say how, including the traps that already cost a day.
Your account no longer opens, and the app's servers and database are shut down. We have kept a private archive. If you want a copy of your rooms or materials, or want your data erased from the archive as well, write to hayfieldai@gmail.com. Thank you for trying it.
